Working the Orders Queue
- In the sidebar, open Sales → Orders.
- The screen opens on Submitted — everything the field has booked that nobody has dealt with yet. That is your queue for the day, not a list of everything ever sold.
- Use the rail above the table to switch what you are looking at:
- Submitted — waiting on you.
- Confirmed — priced and agreed, ready to invoice.
- Invoiced — already billed.
- All — everything, whatever state it is in.
- Click an order number to open it.
- If your role allows it, Book order (top right) keys an order the field could not book itself — see Booking an Order from the Office.
Narrowing the list
- Click Filter (top right of the table).
- Set an Order date range, pick a Shop, or type the salesman's username under Booked by.
- How it was booked narrows the list to one channel — Field app, Back office or Phone. Leave it on Any to see all of them.
- The button at the bottom of the drawer tells you how many orders you are about to see — for example "Show 14 orders".
- Other states lets you go looking for drafts or cancelled orders, which are deliberately kept out of the working rail.
Filters apply as you set them. There is no Apply button.
Reading a row
- Shop is the outlet the order was booked for; Customer is the account it bills to.
- Booked By is the salesman the order is credited to — which is not always the person who typed it, if the order was keyed in the office on his behalf.
- Source says how the order arrived: Field app off a salesman's phone, Back office or Phone keyed in the console. The full list is in Booking an Order from the Office.
- Status shows where the order stands. A Needs approval tag next to it means someone changed a price or a discount beyond what is allowed, and a second person has to sign it off before the order can be invoiced.
- Amount is the order total as the server calculated it.
When the queue is empty
If nothing is listed, the screen tells you which of the two things happened: either every booked order has been dealt with, or your filters are hiding them. Clear the filters in the drawer to check.
