What Settings Covers
Settings is where you tune the workspace to fit your business — regional defaults, your company's branding on documents, your own profile, your subscription plan, and even the words the console uses and how its sidebar is arranged. Open it from Settings, pinned at the bottom of the sidebar.
Everyone who can sign in can open Settings, but most people see only Profile. All the other sections are for administrators: they only appear if your role includes user-management access. If you need one of them, ask your administrator.
The seven sections
Every Settings page shares the same layout: a section list on the left, the selected section's form on the right. Your current plan tier (e.g. FREE, ELITE) shows as a badge next to the page title.
- General (
/settings/general) — workspace-wide regional defaults (time zone, locale, date format, week start, default landing page) plus your personal console display language and light/dark theme. - Organization (
/settings/organization) — company identity and branding: logo, brand colors, address, contact details, tax registration, currency, and the footer/terms printed on generated documents. - Nomenclature (
/settings/nomenclature) — rename any sidebar group or screen to your business vocabulary (e.g. "Items" → "Masters") and drag screens between groups or into a new order, all on one screen. - Sign-in methods (
/settings/sign-in-methods) — let staff sign in with their company Google account, limit it to your company domains, and choose whether accounts connect automatically by email. - Plan & Billing (
/settings/plan) — see your current plan, its register limit, and the features each tier includes. - Profile (
/settings/profile) — your own name and email as they appear across the console, and your Google account connection. Open to everyone; only administrators can edit the name and email. - About (
/settings/about) — the console's current build version and release notes.
How saving works
Settings forms have no Save button of their own. As soon as you change something, the amber unsaved-changes bar appears — use it to Save or Discard. Until you save, nothing is stored.
