Signing In with Google
If your admin has turned on Google sign-in and your Google account is connected to your user, you can sign in with your company Google account instead of typing a username and password.
Steps
- Open the iotoms login page.
- Type your Domain (the same company code you use with a password). The Sign in with Google button stays greyed out until the Domain box is filled in.
- Tick or untick Remember me. Ticked keeps you signed in on this computer after you close the browser. Unticked signs you out when you close it.
- Click Sign in with Google. A small Google window opens.
- Pick your company Google account (or sign in to it). The window closes and you land on the page you were trying to open, or on the Dashboard.
You get exactly the same screens and permissions as when you sign in with your password.
If it doesn't work
The login page tells you what went wrong, in a red box above the Sign In button:

The same message covers every reason: Google sign-in is turned off for this domain, the account isn't from one of your company's allowed domains (for example, a personal Gmail), the account isn't connected to your user, or the Domain is mistyped. | Check the Domain first. Then ask your admin. They can check the Sign-in methods settings and whether your user has a Google badge on the Users list. You can also sign in with your password and connect Google from Settings → Profile. |
| Google couldn't confirm this sign-in. Please try again. | The sign-in was started in another tab of the login page, or it took too long and expired. | Close the other login tabs, then click Sign in with Google again in one tab. |

If your user has been deactivated, you see the same message you would get with a password.
No Google button on your login page? Your company's console does not have Google sign-in set up. Sign in with your username and password.
