Finding and Filtering Customer Stores

The Customer Stores list shows every shop on your books, with the owner's name and phone, the customer it bills to, the city and country, the credit limit, and an Active / Inactive / Archived / Deleted status badge. Here's how to find the one you need and keep the list tidy.

Which shops can be invoiced

The Bills to column names the customer that legally owes for each shop, or shows an Unlinked badge where no customer has been set — those shops cannot be invoiced yet. Above the list, an amber "N not linked to a customer" count (or a green "Every shop is linked") tells you how big that backlog is; click the amber count to see only those shops. See Saying Who Pays for a Shop for how to clear it.

Searching

The search box above the list ("Search by ID, name, owner, city...") filters as you type. It also understands property searches for precision:

  • owner:priya — match the owner name only
  • phone:98470 — match the owner phone only
  • city:chennai — match the city only
  • name:mini or id:42 — match the store name or ID only

Plain text without a prefix searches across all of those fields at once.

Filtering

  1. Click the Filters button next to the search box — a filter drawer slides in from the right.
  2. Tick one or more Status boxes: Active, Inactive, Archived, Deleted.
  3. Under Customer link, choose All, Linked, or Unlinked — Unlinked is the list of shops that have no customer to bill and so cannot be invoiced.
  4. Optionally type a City and/or Name — the list updates live as you change anything; there is no Apply button.
  5. Use Clear all in the drawer's top-right to reset everything. The green button at the bottom — "Show N customer stores" — just closes the panel over the list it is already showing.

The active filter count is shown on the Filters button, and your drawer filters are kept in the page URL — they survive a refresh or navigating away and back.

Opening, editing, and deleting

  • Click a store's name to open it for editing — the same form described in Adding a Customer Store, pre-filled.
  • Or use the row menu (the three-dot button at the end of each row): Edit opens the form; Delete asks for confirmation and then permanently removes the store — this cannot be undone.

Other tips

  • Change how many rows you see per page (10 / 25 / 50 / 100) with the page-size control below the list.
  • The first time you visit this screen a short guided tour starts automatically; replay it any time with the Show me how link next to the page title.

Customer stores are the building blocks of routes — once your list is in shape, move on to Creating a Route Plan.
