Adding a Customer Store
A customer store is a shop your van sales team serves — the customer on the route. Its record carries the owner's contact details, the exact GPS location (used by route teams to navigate and verify visits), and an optional credit limit for field credit sales.
Steps
- Open Operations → Customer Stores from the sidebar.
- Click Add customer store.
- In Who pays for this shop, pick the customer that will be invoiced for it. A shop is a place; the customer is the business that owes the money, and a shop with no customer cannot be invoiced later. The link is applied as soon as the store is saved — see Saying Who Pays for a Shop if you have no customers yet.
- Fill in the Store profile:
- Name (required)
- Owner name and Owner phone (required), plus an optional owner email
- Address line 1 (required), address line 2, City (required), state, postal code, and Country (required — pre-filled with India)
- Set the location. Latitude and Longitude are required — the easiest way is the Pick location from map panel:
- Click Open Google Maps, find the store, copy the shared link, paste it into the box, and click Use coordinates — the latitude/longitude fields fill in automatically. Shortened share links (maps.app.goo.gl) are resolved for you, and a plain

- You can also type the latitude and longitude directly.
- Click Open Google Maps, find the store, copy the shared link, paste it into the box, and click Use coordinates — the latitude/longitude fields fill in automatically. Shortened share links (maps.app.goo.gl) are resolved for you, and a plain
- Optionally set a Credit limit — the amount of outstanding credit this store is allowed — and add Executive notes for the field team.
- Choose the Status — Active or Inactive.
- Optionally upload a Store image from the right-hand panel (JPG, PNG, or WEBP up to 25 MB) — a clear storefront photo helps field reps identify the location.
- Changes are tracked by the amber unsaved-changes bar — Save or Discard from there.
The right-hand Live summary card previews the record as you type, and the Map location card shows the current coordinates with a shortcut to open them in Google Maps.
Once saved, the store becomes selectable as a stop when Creating a Route Plan.
