Tips and FAQ
- Why don't I see all six report categories? Each category — and in some cases each individual report inside it — is gated by its own permission (for example, Stock Health Overview needs inventory access in addition to basic reporting access, and Operational Audit needs user-management access). If your role lacks the permission, that category or report simply isn't shown, in the hub or the sidebar.
- A report opened with no rows — is something broken? No. Every report in the hub is connected to live data, so an empty report means there was no activity in the period you selected. Widen the date range and check again.
- Where did the point-in-time date field go on Reorder/Aging? Those tabs reuse the same date control as everything else — the "from" date you set is treated as the as-of date, rather than a separate field.
- Does the PDF export always match what I see on screen? It's generated server-side for the same date range you have selected, so change your date range first if you want the PDF to reflect a different period.
- Can I search or filter rows inside a report table? Reports don't have a search box — every table is already scoped by the report's date range (and, on tabbed reports, the active tab). Use column sorting and pagination to navigate results.
Where did the van variance report go?
It is temporarily unavailable, and the screen at Reports → Inventory → Van variance explains why rather than redirecting you somewhere else.
The report compares what a vehicle was loaded with against what it sold and brought back. Nothing in the product currently records what was loaded onto a van — the loading document is created empty at day start and never filled in — so the "loaded" column was always zero while sold and returned were not. Every vehicle read as thousands of units short, every day. It is a sheet a supervisor signs against a driver, so we took it down rather than leave a wrong figure on it.
Recording the load is a change to how the day starts rather than a reporting fix, so it is scheduled as its own piece of work.
In the meantime:
- A vehicle's current stock is accurate — see Managing Inventory Locations and open that van's stockroom.
- The loading and return transfers themselves are visible under Tracking and Receiving Transfers.
- The Stock Movement report still shows every individual movement, van sales included.
