Viewing an Item's Inventory Detail
Every item in the stock list has its own inventory detail page showing its current position and a full history of every quantity change — useful when you need to answer "who changed this, when, and why?"
Opening an item's detail
- Open Inventory from the sidebar.
- Either click the item name in the list, or open the row's ⋮ actions menu and choose View details.
What you'll see
- Header — the item name, its Low/Healthy stock pill, and when it was last adjusted. Catch-weight items (stocked by weight, e.g. in KG) show a Catch weight badge, and all quantities on the page are labeled with the stocking unit.
- Four metric cards — Quantity On Hand, Reserved Quantity, Available Quantity, and Minimum Stock.
- Adjustment History — a table of every quantity change, newest first, with:
- Adjusted At — date and time of the change
- Type — the kind of adjustment (Add, Subtract, or Set)
- Quantity — the amount applied
- Reason — why the adjustment was made
- Before / After — the quantity on hand before and after the change
- Adjusted By — who made the change
- Notes — any extra context that was recorded
Adjusting from this page
The Adjust QOH button at the top right opens the same adjustment dialog available from the stock list — see Adjusting Quantity on Hand. After you apply an adjustment, the metric cards and the history table update immediately.
