Reading Your Business Snapshot
- Open Dashboard from the navigation.
- If your business setup isn't complete yet, look at the very top of the page for a one-line Getting Started card showing your progress (for example "2 of 4 done") — see Finishing Business Setup for what to do with it. It disappears once dismissed.
- Work down the three labelled groups: Money, Sales Shape, then Operations. The label tells you which part of the business the panels underneath it describe.
- Under Money, read the money strip first: Sales, Purchases, Expenses, Cash & Bank and Customer Balance, on one line. Dark bold figures are money that moved; grey ones are real zeros. Every cell opens its own report — see Your Money Numbers.
- Below it, read the pair of panels side by side:
- Receivables Aging — its headline is the total owed to you, then how old that money is and how much is past 90 days. See Chasing Overdue Money.
- Action items — everything asking for a decision right now, with an All clear or N open badge in its header and the all-clear items listed quietly underneath. See Action Items and Status. When there is no age split to show, these two swap widths and Action items takes the wider half.
- Under Sales Shape, review the Net Revenue panel alongside the Sales by Category ring (your payment-mode split). The panel is the same reading the Sales Overview report leads with: net revenue for the range you picked, how much it moved against the range immediately before it (up or down triangle, amount, and percentage when the earlier period had revenue to compare against), the dates covered, and both periods drawn day by day — your period as a solid line, the one before it dashed. The figure in the middle of the ring is the share held by your biggest payment method, and the list beneath it gives every method its own line with the amount and the share it holds.
- Under Operations, check Terminal Status — every active register by name, with the store it belongs to and a green dot when it's online. The line under the title tells you how many of your terminals are up. If you haven't set up a register yet, the panel says so and offers a link straight to Registers.
- Scroll to Top Venues and Top Sellers — see Top Venues and Top Sellers.
- At the foot of the page, read Customer Growth, Catalog Status, and the Inventory / Procurement / Finance status strip — see Action Items and Status. The first two each carry a small bar showing how their two figures divide.
- For field-sales roles, check the Operational Status and Route Coverage panels (visited / pending / skipped stores today).
Everything on this page is real data for the date range you picked. If a number can't be trusted, its panel isn't shown at all rather than showing a zero.
