Editing a User (and Changing Your Own Password)
Use the edit form to update a team member's profile, move them to a different role, reset their password, or change their status.
Opening the edit form
- Open Admin → Users from the sidebar.
- Click the user's username in the list, or open the row's ⋮ menu and choose Edit.
What you can change
- First name, Last name, Email
- Role — moving a user to a different role instantly changes what they'll have access to on their next sign-in.
- Status — Active or Inactive (inactive users cannot log in).
- PIN login — enable/disable PIN access, or set a new 4–6 digit PIN.
- Password — leave the field empty to keep the current password, or type a new one to reset it.
The Username cannot be changed after creation — the field is shown greyed out.
Resetting someone else's password
Type the new password into the Password field and save. You do not need to know the user's current password — a note under the field confirms this. The same password rules apply as when creating a user (8+ characters with upper, lower, number, and one of @ $ ! % * ? & . _ ^ #).
Changing your own password
When you edit your own account, the form adds a Current password field:
- Enter your existing password in Current password.
- Enter the new one in New password.
- Save from the amber unsaved-changes bar.
If you leave Current password empty while setting a new password, the form will ask for it before saving. This extra check only applies to your own account.
Saving
As everywhere in the portal, edits are tracked by the amber unsaved-changes bar at the top — click Save there, or Discard to revert.
