Finding, Filtering, Editing, or Deleting a Register
Once registers exist, use the Registers list to search, filter, edit, or remove them.
Finding and filtering
- On the Registers list, use the search box (placeholder: "Filter registers... (try name:value or store:value)") to search by name or store.
- Click the filter icon to open the filter drawer for structured filtering by Store, Register Type (POS / Van), and Status (Active / Inactive / Archived).
- Use the page-size control and pager at the bottom to move through results.
Editing a register
- Click a register's name, or use the row's ⋮ menu → View details, to open it.
- Use ⋮ → Edit to jump straight to the edit form.
- Make your changes and use the amber unsaved-changes bar to Save or Discard.
Deleting a register
- Use the row's ⋮ menu → Delete and confirm.
This permanently deletes the register and cannot be undone.
Checking which registers have no stockroom
The register list has a Stockroom column. A register showing an amber Not set badge is taking its sales out of the default warehouse rather than the stockroom it really sells from — so a second store drains the wrong stock, and a van's own stock never goes down when it sells.
- Open Registers and scan the Stockroom column.
- Click any register showing Not set.
- Pick its Stockroom and save. See Adding a Register, step 7, for how to choose.
- If Stock Exceptions has rows for that register, mark them as handled once the setting is saved.
