Creating a New Configuration

  1. Click New QuickPick at the top of the list page.
  2. Step 1 — Name: type a clear configuration name (for example "Lunch Menu" or "Breakfast Setup"). This is the name you'll see in the register configuration selector later. Click Continue.
  3. Step 2 — Build pages: this is where you lay out the buttons.
    • Each page is shown as a 6-column grid. Tap any empty + cell to open the item search drawer, search for a catalog item by name, and select it to place it in that slot.
    • Use the Page settings panel on the right to rename the current page or change its background color (there's a color swatch and a hex text field).
    • Click + Add page in the page tab strip to add another page; click the small × on a page tab to remove that page (you can't remove the last one).
    • The Summary panel on the right keeps a running total of pages and buttons as you work.
  4. Every page needs at least one button before you can save — the form will flag an empty page and jump you to it if you try to save without one.
  5. Saving happens through the amber unsaved-changes bar at the bottom of the screen, not a button on the page itself — click Save there when you're ready (or Discard to throw away your changes).
