Reviewing Past Goods Receipts
The list at Purchases → Goods Receipts is your history of every delivery — useful for checking what came in from a vendor, chasing a discrepancy, or printing a receipt document.
Finding a receipt
- Search by GRN number, vendor, or PO number in the search box.
- Open the filter drawer to filter by status: Draft (saved but not yet counted in stock), Confirmed (stock updated), or Cancelled.
- The list shows each receipt's GRN number, vendor, Linked PO (click it to jump to the purchase order), status, total value, and received date.
Reading a receipt's detail page
Click a GRN number to open the receipt. The page shows:
- A timeline (Draft → Confirmed) and a status card explaining what the current state means.
- The Received Items table with, per line: Received, Accepted (green), Rejected (red when non-zero), and the item's Condition badge where recorded.
- For catch-weight lines, a weight strip under the row: net weight from the packs, gross, expected weight, the variance badge (amber when beyond tolerance — flagged only, receiving was not blocked), any rejected weight, per-pack readings, and the resulting cost per weight unit.
- A Details panel with the linked purchase order, vendor, received date, who received and who confirmed it, and any delivery note number.
- A Summary card totalling received / accepted / rejected quantities, plus the net weight in stock (or "to stock" while still a draft).
- The PDF button in the header downloads a printable copy of the receipt.
Acting on a draft
Receipts still in Draft can be confirmed or cancelled from their detail page. Confirmed and cancelled receipts are final and read-only.
