Understanding Payment and Sync Badges
Two columns in the register use colored badges. Here's how to read them.
Payment Mode
Shows how the customer paid:
| Badge | Color | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Cash | Green | Paid in cash — the money is with the rep or in the till. |
| Card | Blue | Paid by card. |
| Digital | Purple | Paid through a digital/online method. |
| Store Credit | Amber | Settled against the customer store's credit balance. |
| Other | Grey | Any other payment mode. |
Sync
Your field reps work offline-first: a sale made on the van app is saved on the device instantly and uploaded to the server when the device has connectivity. The Sync badge tells you where each transaction is in that journey:
- Synced (green) — the transaction is fully on the server. This is the normal end state; orders created in the console are here from the start.
- Pending (amber) — the sale was recorded but hasn't finished syncing yet, usually because the rep's device is out of coverage. It will turn green on its own once the device reconnects — no action needed.
- Failed (red) — the upload hit an error and needs attention. If it doesn't recover, ask the rep to open the app with connectivity so the sync retries, and escalate to support if it stays red.
Tip: at the end of a trading day, a quick scan for anything not green tells you whether every field sale from the day has safely arrived.
The Amount column
Amount is the transaction's final grand total — after line discounts and taxes — shown to the cent, exactly as the backend computed it at checkout. It's the same figure as on the customer's invoice, so it may differ from a quick mental sum of item prices once discounts and taxes are in play.
