Choosing Which Notifications You Receive
The Notification Preferences page gives you one switch per notification category, so you can silence what you don't need and keep what matters. Turning a category off stops those notifications reaching you — they won't appear in your bell or as push notifications.
Steps
- Open Admin → Notification Preferences from the sidebar.
- You'll see your categories grouped into sections: Operations, Inventory, Transactions, Admin Broadcast, and Marketing.
- Click a switch to turn a category on or off. Each toggle saves immediately — there is no Save button, and no unsaved-changes bar. The switch is briefly disabled while it saves.
- That's it. The change applies from the next notification onward.
Categories you can't turn off
Some switches are locked on and labelled "Always on — cannot be disabled" — most notably Broadcast (admin announcements). These are kept on deliberately so time-sensitive operational messages from your admins always reach everyone.
If something goes wrong
If a toggle fails to save (for example a connection drop), an error message appears at the top of the page and the switch returns to its previous position — just try again.
