Confirm a stock transfer

/api/v1/inventory/transfers/{id}/confirm

Dispatches a draft transfer: checks the source stockroom holds every requested quantity, deducts it, records the dispatched quantities and sets the status to IN_TRANSIT. Fails with insufficient stock if any line cannot be covered.

How to use it

  1. Get the transfer ID from List stock transfers; it must be DRAFT with all its lines added.
  2. Make sure the source stockroom holds at least the requested quantity of every item, or the call is refused.
  3. Stock leaves the source, each line's dispatched quantity is set and the status becomes IN_TRANSIT; lines can no longer be added.
  4. Record arrival at the destination with Receive a stock transfer.
