Delete a customer

DELETE
/api/v1/crm/customers/{customerId}

Permanently deletes a customer profile, identified by customer number. Returns 204 No Content, or an error if no customer has that number. To keep the history, set the status to INACTIVE or ARCHIVED instead.

How to use it

  1. Get the customer number from List customers.
  2. Delete it; the profile is removed permanently and Get a customer then returns not found.
  3. To hide a customer without losing the record, set status to INACTIVE or ARCHIVED with Partially update a customer instead.

Customer number, e.g. CUS-000-2026-00042, as returned by Create a customer or List customers.
