Update a register

PUT
/api/v1/catalog/business/registers/{id}

Replaces all editable fields of a register: name, store, start time, type, status and stockroom. Leaving out inventoryLocationId clears it, so the register's sales then deduct from the default warehouse.

How to use it

  1. Get the register with Get a register and the store ID from List stores.
  2. Send the full register: name, storeId, fromTime, type and status, plus inventoryLocationId from List inventory locations to keep a stockroom.
  3. The stockroom must be active; the register is saved with exactly the values sent.

storeId*integer

ID of the store the register belongs to, from List stores. Required.

Date and time the register comes into service, ISO 8601 with offset (e.g. 2026-01-05T08:00:00+04:00). Required.

type*string

VAN for a van-sales device or POS for an in-store till. Defaults to VAN.

ACTIVE, INACTIVE, ARCHIVED or DELETED. Defaults to ACTIVE; creating an ACTIVE register fails if the plan's register limit is reached.
